Student Kits
Our student kits are not required to complete your training, but they will enable you to begin trading within these disciplines. Our kits are top quality professional kits.
Express Nails
The Express Nails is a new and innovative express acrylic nail system. It uses very pure and fine acrylic powders. The powder is applied using a self leveling resin over French tips and then a special activator is used to set the application.

Q: When do I get my certificate?
As long as you have completed the online section of your course, you will ge given your certificate at the end of the practial session.
Q: Do I need to bring anything with me?
No. All equipment will be supplied on the course. Refreshments are included during your course, along with a light lunch for full day courses.
Q: Do I need to have any previous experience/qualifications?
No. You don’t need any previous experience or qualifications at all. We work right from basics. However, as we are working with small classes, if you have experience it will not hinder you either.
Q: How do I book the course?
Just add the course and date of your choice to your basket and work through the payment process. You can add multiple courses to your basket.
Q: What age do I have to be to train with Star Beauty Schools?
You need to be at least 16 years of age to train with us. We are able sometimes to train students under that age, but they will not be able to obtain insurance until they are 16.
Our Industry Diplomas are intensive short courses. Where you learn specific skills within specific areas. Our modular beauty diploma courses are ideal if you are looking to trade in a few specific areas or add/update your skills.
To complete your NVQ you will complete your Star Beauty Schools accredited Diploma as normal. If you have chosen the option to upgrade your Diploma to a NVQ/VRQ you would then receive your training pack, this includes questions and assignments to work through to cover all the mandatory theory, this is studied in your own time, at home, but with support from your personal Kent School of Beauty lecturers and assessors, who are contactable by email or phone during office hours. Star Beauty Schools have been teaching in Dover for over 4 years. We now have a new training center that is within easy walking distance of the town center.
We cover areas such as, Dover, Folkestone, Margate, Ramsgate, Herne Bay, Whitstable, Faversham, Gillingham, Maidstone Canterbury, Ashford, Chatham, Rochester, Gravesend, Dartford, Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells. These are all in easy reach of our Dover training centre.
