Bamboo massage has benefits both to client and therapist. Clients will feel relaxed, have improved blood circulation, may sleep better and find they have more flexible joints. For the therapist Bamboo Massage avoids wear and tear on the hands and wrists that comes from tradional methods of massage. This course will add on to your treatment menu enabling you to earn more income from your business. Bamboo canes can be purchased relatively cheaply and mean very little outlay and ongoing expense with this type of treatment.
Students must already hold a body massage qualification (our Swedish Massage Diploma is perfect for this). This course is accredited by The Guild of Beauty Therapists. Bamboo massage is available in both our Dover and Ashford training schools.
No model is required for this session, as you will give and receive this treatment.
This course comprises:
1/2 day – Home learning
1 day – Practical session and assessment
1/2 day – Review session (non-compulsory)
Home learning – Comprises of online learning materials and links to industry standards websites. These need to be read and the websites visited and explored. There is also an online test that needs to be completed before the practical session.
Practical Session
Morning – Practical training and demonstrations
Lunch – 30 minute lunch break. Please check our center pages to see if there are cafes local or if you need to take a packed lunch.
Afternoon – Give and receive massage treatments
Review session – This is a non-compulsory aspect of your course, and should be viewed as ongoing support and a problem solving session. These session are run on a regular basis and need to pre-booked.

We do not like to cancel courses so if you are the only student booked on the course we will complete your course with a one to one session with your tutor, although we ask you to bring a model with you and you will possibly finish earlier.
