This is an indepth course that will enable you to offer a professional waxing service to your clients and enable you to earn more income for your business. No prior experience is required for this course, and is suitable for complete beginners through to students that just need to brush up their skills.
Students will learn how to use hot and warm wax to perform leg, bikini, eyebrow, lip, chin and underarm waxing. Allowing them to carry out waxing treatments on any area of the body eg arms, backs and chests. This course can be used to move on to more advanced courses at a later date ie intimate waxing, allowing students to perform Hollywood and Brazillian waxes as well as male intimate waxing.
Students will receive an accredited diploma on completion allowing them to gain insurance and perform waxing on members of the public.
This course comprises:
1/2 day – Home learning
1 day – Practical session and assessment
1/2 day – Review session (non-compulsory)
Home learning – Comprises of online learning materials and links to industry standards websites. These need to be read and the websites visited and explored. There is also an online test that needs to be completed before the practical session.
Practical Session
Morning – Practical training and demonstrations
Lunch – 30 minute lunch break. Please check our center pages to see if there are cafes local or if you need to take a packed lunch.
Afternoon – Give and receive waxing treatments
Review session – This is a non-compulsory aspect of your course, and should be viewed as ongoing support and a problem solving session. These session are run on a regular basis and need to pre-booked.

No model is required for this session, as you will give and receive this treatment. You will be practising on legs, top lips, eyebrows, bikinis and underarm. With these five area techniques you can then safely wax other parts of the body ie male backs.
We do not like to cancel courses so if you are the only student booked on the course we will complete your course with a one to one session with your tutor, although we ask you to bring a model with you and you will possibly finish earlier.
