This two in one course will enable you to blend oils for use in massage, beauty product manufacture, burning etc followed by using the blended oils to perform an aromatherapy massage. To attend this course students must have completed an accredited Swedish or body massage course. You will learn the theory and contra-indications behind each oil, which oils can be blended and the benefits they can offer. You will then learn an aromatherapy massage, completing a full body with a blend of your choice.
This course has been accredited by The Guild of Beauty Therapists and you will gain a fully insurable Diploma qualification. This course is run at both our Dover and Ashford training schools.

This course comprises:
1/2 day – Home learning
1 day – Attendance for practical session
1/2 day – Review session (non-compulsory)
Home learning – Comprises of online learning materials and links to industry standards websites. These need to be read and the websites visited and explored. There is also an online test that needs to be completed before the practical session.
Practial Session
Morning – Theory of different oils and practical blending
Lunch – 30 minute lunch break. Please check our center pages to see if there are cafes local or if you need to take a packed lunch.
Afternoon – Performing an aromatherapy massage
Review session – This is a non-compulsory aspect of your course, and should be viewed as ongoing support and a problem solving session. These session are run on a regular basis and need to pre-booked.

No model is required for this session, as you will give and receive this treatment.
We do not like to cancel courses so if you are the only student booked on the course we will complete your course with a one to one session with your tutor, although we ask you to bring a model with you and you will possibly finish earlier.
