The treatment is a 7 step process that includes mapping, tinting, waxing, tweezing, threading, trimming, eyebrow pencil and eyebrow powders which will create defined eyebrow shape. Eyebrow definition is the most up to date and sought after treatment. The treatment was designed for celebrities that want that perfect looking brow effect. Students can also use any part of this treatment as a stand-alone treatment eg waxing, tinting, threading of brows.
Students will need to complete a patch test at least 24 hours before the course, on either yourself or your model if you are the only student. The patch test is an essential requirement for the course and will be posted out to you.
Please allow your eyebrows to grow for a minimum of 2 weeks (preferably 4 weeks) to get the maximum effect of the treatment.
No prior experience is required for this course, and is suitable for complete beginners through to students that just need to brush up their skills. You do not need a model for this course and will work on each other. This course is accredited by ABT.
This is course comprises:
1/2 day – Home learning
1/2 day – Practical session and assessment
1/2 day – Review session (non-compulsory)
Home learning – Comprised of online learning materials and links to industry standards websites. These need to be read and the websites visited and explored. There is also an online test that needs to be completed before the practial session.
Practical Session
Practical training, demonstrations and assessment.
Review session – This is a non-compulsory aspect of your course, and should be viewed as ongoing support and a problem solving session. These sessions are run on a regular basis and need to pre-booked.
