An excellent course teaching the sugaring hair removal method. Using natural ingredients (sugar and lemon juice) this method of hair removal is easy, portable and thought to be less painful than some other methods, as well as being gentle on the skin and easy to remove, as water soluble, as well as being a vegan product. This is an in depth course that will enable you to offer a professional sugaring service to your clients and enable you to earn more income for your business. No prior experience is required for this course, and is suitable for complete beginners through to students that just need to brush up their skills.
Students will learn how to use hand sugar to perform leg, bikini, eyebrow, lip, chin and underarm hair removal. Allowing them to carry out sugaring treatments on any area of the body eg. arms, backs and chests.

Students will receive a diploma accredited by The Guild of Beauty Therapists on completion allowing them to gain insurance and perform sugaring on members of the public.
This course comprises:
1/2 day – Home learning
1 day – Practical session and assessment
1/2 day – Review session (non-compulsory)
Home learning – Comprises of online learning materials and links to industry standards websites. These need to be read and the websites visited and explored. There is also an online test that needs to be completed before the practical session.

Review session – This is a non-compulsory aspect of your course, and should be viewed as ongoing support and a problem solving session. These session are run on a regular basis and need to pre-booked.

A model is required for this session. You will be practising on legs, top lips, eyebrows, bikinis and underarm. With these five area techniques you can then safely sugar other parts of the body ie male backs.
